The Cawood Family settled on the Southern Cross Estate in 1843. Originally the Estate was home to the first and most famous Angora Goat Stud in the Southern Hemisphere. The dream and vision of International Professional Hunter, Mike Cawood, was realized in the late 1970’s, enabling him to turn this pristine heritage into the first genuine game ranch in South Africa.

Now, under the proud management of Professional Hunter and Outfitter, Chris Cawood, the 6th generation legacy continues.
